COMPANY BACKGROUND

In 1998 Nino Veerapen started a small upholstery company and named it Xpert Upholstery. Operational from his home, the business quickly expanded and moved to a bigger premises.

Nino oversees the day-to-day operations of the business. He has extensive experience in furniture upholstery, manufacturing and production.

Nino works closely with each upholsterer, seamstress and cutter from stripping the furniture himself to working and planning each job with the frame makers.

Nino’s commitment to excellence is what sets him apart in his field. Since the establishment of the business, he has managed to attract several popular interior designers from VILAGE INTERIORS, OFF-MED, LIVING INTERIORS, UPSTART VENTURES and LESLEY VERHOEF.

While working nearly 15 years with these interior designers and decorators in 2010 Xpert upholstery was influential in manufacturing one of our proudest locations THE HYDE HOTEL and manufactured all of their contemporary furniture for their hotel.

FACTORY

Our factory is conveniently located off Voortrekker Road, Maitland, with direct access to all major routes within Cape Town. Our factory is situated in a private business park and is well protected by private security.
